Statement of faith

INTRODUCTORY WORD

Isaiah 40:3 - The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness (John the Baptist - fulfilled in John 1:23) , Prepare ye the way of YHWH (YaHWeH - JeHoVaH), make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Please note that Isaiah prophesies that John the Bapstist would be the one that would prepare the highway for the LORD GOD THE ALMIGHTY. John the Baptist was the one whom the prophet Isaiah was prophesying about - the one who prepared the way for the LORD GOD as seen in John 1:23.

Now Carefully note John 1:27 -  He who is coming after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie. Who was John the Baptist referring to? He was referring to the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of all the world.

I want you to now carefully pay attention to who Jesus Christ the Lord is:

John 1:29-31

29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

30 This is He of whom I said, A man is coming after me who has become ahead of me, because He was before me.

31 And I did not know Him, but in order that He might be manifested to Israel, for this reason I came baptizing in water.

Note verse 30 carefully. Do you actually see and hear what John the Baptist (prophesied in Isaiah 40:3) is saying. "A man is coming after me who has become ahead of me, because He was before me." Why would John the Baptist say this? According to the prophecy in Isaiah 40:3, who was John the baptist preparing the way for? John the Baptist - the voice in the wilderness was preparing the way for the One which was, which is and which is coming (Revelation 1:8). John the Baptist was preparing the way for the LORD GOD Almighty Himself who became a man - God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16). Now you know why Thomas refers to the Lord Jesus the way he did in John 20:28. I won't put the verse here. I want you to look it up. Note what the Lord Jesus says after Thomas says what he says. Your clue is in John 20:29.

Dear people of the earth - be not unbelieving BUT believe into the name of above all names (Phil. 2:9) - Jesus Christ, the LORD, the Son of God (John 3:16).

Why is the Lord Jesus referred to as the Bridegroom. Just go read Isaiah 54:5. Do you see now who Jesus the LORD of GLORY is? Yahweh (YHWH) is the Creator, the Husband. The Lord Jesus can be called the Bridegroom because He is the Creator God Himself - the Husband - the Bridegroom. REPENT! Believe into the name of the Son of God - the Son who is God (Isaiah 9:6 - John 1:1, 14 - John 20:28 - Romans 9:5).

End of introductory word.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Holding the Bible as the complete and only divine revelation - the word of God, we strongly believe that God is eternally one and also eternally the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, the three being distinct but not separate.

We hold that Christ is both the complete God and the perfect man. Without abandoning His divinity, He was conceived in the womb of a human virgin, lived a genuine human life on earth, and died a vicarious and all-inclusive death on the cross. After three days He resurrected bodily and has ascended to the heavens. He is now in glory, fully God but still fully man. We look to His imminent return with the kingdom of God, by which He will reign over the earth in the millennium and in eternity.

We confess that the third of the Trinity, the Spirit, is equally God. All that the Father has and is, is expressed by the Son, and all that the Son has and is, is realized as the Spirit.

We further believe that mankind is in need of God’s salvation. Though we were absolutely unable to fulfill the heavy demands of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory, Christ fulfilled all the requirements through His death on the cross. Because of Christ’s death, God has forgiven us of our sins, justified us, making Christ our righteousness, and reconciled us to Himself.

Based on Christ’s redemption, God regenerates the redeemed with His Spirit to consummate His salvation, that they may become His children. Now possessing God’s life and nature, the believers enjoy a daily salvation as they have communion with Christ in this age and the eternal salvation in the coming age and in eternity. In eternity we will dwell with God in the New Jerusalem, the consummation of God’s salvation of His elect.

Jesus Christ is LORD.
